The Quezon City Police District gets 150 Suzuki Burgman Streets for city patrol
These special maxi-scooters have been equipped with all the bells and whistles for effective law enforcement.

Suzuki has always been about creating motorcycles that are efficient, stylish, affordable, and practical. That's why it's not surprising that the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), a reliable law enforcement team in the Philippines, has chosen to buy 150 units of the Suzuki Burgman Street. These bikes will help the QCPD to improve its patrol and response abilities, making our streets safer for everyone.
The Burgman Street is an affordable, entry-level maxi-scooter that has been designed with both style and practicality in mind. With its powerful 125cc engine and sleek design, it's no wonder why Filipinos have fallen in love with it. Not only is it affordable, but it also boasts a Suzuki Eco Performance fuel injection system that provides excellent fuel economy at 53.5 km/L. Plus, the Burgman Street has a huge 21L underseat compartment, perfect for storing equipment during daily urban patrol duties of the QCPD operatives.

The QCPD's purchase of these fuel-efficient motorcycles was made possible through a partnership with TransCycle, one of the country's leading dealers. The turnover ceremonies for these new bikes were held on April 19, 2023, at the QCPD headquarters in Camp Karingal, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City. During the event, QCPD district logistics department chief, Lt. Col. Enrico E. Figueroa, expressed his gratitude to the city and police officials for providing them with additional vehicles to aid in their mission of protecting and ensuring the safety of the public.
To fully equip the Suzuki Burgman Street for law enforcement use, QCPD's scooters were fitted with crash guards, warning lights, and other accessories that highlight their police service. Lt. Col. Enrico E. Figueroa personally test rode the Burgman Street and gave it his stamp of approval, commenting on its impressive acceleration and comfort. He also noted that the spacious underseat compartment provides ample storage space for all the life-saving devices and crime-fighting tools that QCPD officers need to carry with them.
Additionally, they were pleased to find that getting these scooters serviced or maintained is quite easy, as Suzuki provides efficient after-sales support. Overall, these new Burgman Street scooters are an excellent addition to the QCPD's mobility assets, and they are sure to be a valuable asset in enhancing public safety in Quezon City.
