2026 Moto Morini X-Cape 700 gets upgrades across the board
It’s now better equipped to handle both on and off-road adventures.
Moto Morini may not be a household name today, but this Italian brand has been building motorcycles since 1937. Known for its racing roots and distinct design language, the company has spent the last few years rebuilding itself with fresh energy and sharper focus. Now, it’s pushing into the middleweight adventure space with the all-new 2026 X-Cape 700.
This isn’t just a bigger version of the earlier X-Cape 650. It’s a ground-up rethink aimed at riders who want Italian character without breaking the bank. Power comes from a 693cc liquid-cooled parallel twin that puts out 70hp and 68Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. It’s a smooth, usable powerband, meant for everything from tight trails to long highway rides.
What makes the X-Cape 700 stand out is how much tech you get at this price. There's a 7-inch full-color TFT display that works with gloves, Bluetooth connectivity for calls and nav, and even a built-in forward-facing camera you can access through your phone. You also get USB-A and USB-C ports, plus switchable ride modes for Road and Dirt. All that comes standard.
Suspension is handled by a beefy 50mm Marzocchi USD fork with 175mm of travel, and a fully adjustable KYB monoshock at the back with 165mm of movement. It rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires. Braking is taken care of by dual 298mm discs up front with Brembo calipers, and ABS that you can turn off when the trail gets loose.
Comfort and adjustability are baked in, too. The 845mm seat height strikes a decent balance for taller riders, while the adjustable bars and windscreen help tailor the fit. Fuel range is solid thanks to an 18L tank. Visually, it’s sharp and modern, with slim LED lighting and bold colors like Italia Red and Carrara White giving it that unmistakable Italian flavor.
