Royal Enfield’s “Make It Yours” app is launched in India
Configure your dream Royal Enfield motorcycle with your smartphone.

Royal Enfield has built a reputation producing reliable classic-themed motorcycles and has seen a lot of success from its model range especially with its 650 cc twins, the Interceptor and Continental GT. Now, the motorcycle manufacturer from India is now allowing its fans and would-be buyers to configure their dream Royal Enfield motorcycles with their smartphones. Royal Enfield has just introduced its brand new “Make It Yours” (MIY) 3D configurator in India as of October 2020.

The new 3D configurator app can be downloaded in the Royal Enfield smartphone app, on their website, which is tied-up to all of the 320 Royal Enfield dealers across India. Presently, the app allows you to build and configure either the Interceptor 650 or Continental GT 650 to make it suit your liking. However, the company plans to expand the configurator to the rest of its model range, and perhaps even to countries outside of India in the near future.
The layout of the MIY app has a pretty straightforward and easy-to-use interface that allows you to select colors, mirrors, saddles, and even seat cowls, as well as engine protection accessories that may be used for your dream motorcycle. It then automatically adjusts the price of your build to reflect all the accessories added to your favorite 650 twin build. Throughout the process, you can turn the bike in all directions and view it from different angles to see how your chosen accessories look on the rendered image.
With MIY, customers will have a ‘little bit of them’ built into the motorcycle, and depending on the level of personalization, motorcycles will be custom-made, as per consumer specifications, within 24 to 48 hours, at our manufacturing plant in Chennai. We will be rolling out MiY for all our motorcycles, across all our stores in the country in a phased manner. All new motorcycle models from Royal Enfield, from here on, will come with the MiY feature.
With Royal Enfield’s MIY app, you don’t have to worry about making the mistake of putting on an unwanted accessory by allowing you to have a preview of the bike before making the big purchase. Let’s hope that this app would carry over to Royal Enfield Philippines as well so we could all configure our own dream Royal Enfield twins in the comfort of our own homes.
