Here are our New Year’s Resolutions for the year ahead
A new year means yet another chance at self-improvement.
Those of you who are avid readers of ours, as well as those of you who know our team on a personal level, would be very aware that we at MotoDeal.com.ph are incredibly passionate about motorcycles. Indeed, we love motorcycles so much that we’ve chosen to make a living doing what we love the most—riding, telling stories about, and bringing you the latest scoop on all things motorcycle. That being said, nobody’s perfect, and we all have our own New Year’s Resolutions for the year ahead. Allow me to share some of my personal goals for the year ahead when it comes to everything on two wheels.
Go on even more rides
2022 was an awesome year for rides—both personal and for work. Along the way, I, along with my colleagues Earl and Jinno, were able to make awesome new friends with all sorts of people both in and out of the motorcycling community. That being said, for 2023, I’m looking forward to going on more rides and expanding my circle of friends and colleagues even further. Hopefully, in the process, we get to meet more of you, our beloved readers and viewers, and gain some insight as to how we can better serve the two-wheeled community.
Better help you on your two-wheeled journeys
In line with getting out there and going on more rides, the very essence of MotoDeal.com.ph is to help you—whether you’re a beginner rider, or a seasoned veteran—get a solid grasp of the motorcycle industry, both in the Philippines and the global market. As such, for 2023, we’re looking forward to bringing you more of everything—more news, reviews, feature stories, and how-tos.
Share the road
Each and every member of the MotoDeal.com.ph team is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a big bike owner. As such, given the privilege that accompanies the use of big bikes, it can be all too easy to grow impatient with the Metro’s painfully slow traffic situation. As such, for 2023, we’re committing to sharing the road to all road users in an even friendlier, more approachable manner. We certainly hope that you, dear readers, will do the same, as it doesn’t matter what type of vehicle you drive, we’re all sharing the road with one goal in mind: to get to our destinations safely and enjoyably.
Be more open-minded
I hate to admit it, but personally, I’m sort of a motorcycle snob. Having been on naked bikes and sportbikes all my life, I’ve always turned a blind eye on other bikes, more specifically, cruisers and neo-retro motorbikes. Given the number of bikes I had the privilege of testing last year, I can certainly say that there’s a lot to love about all sorts of bikes, and hopefully, 2023 will allow me to be more open-minded about the bikes I have yet to try—such as cruisers like the BMW R 18, and neo-retro models like the Moto Guzzi V7.
