KTM Philippines launches the Riders Academy in the country
Looking to develop Philippine riders off the road, the program also wants to see Filipinos on the world stage.

KTM Philippines, over the weekend, launched its Riders Academy. Team Orange’s effort is powered by the desire to improve our country’s skills when it comes to adventure and enduro riding. Not only will the program serve as a viable course for weekend and daily riders, KTM Philippines also wants to find talent in the country so one day Filipinos will stand on the world stage.
The event also kicked off with the launch of the 2022 300 EXC and 350 EXC Six Days editions that are specifically engineered and designed to take on the rigors of enduro riding. The FIM International Six Days Enduro will be held in France, and the Six Days edition of the EXC models is specifically designed to be enduro-ready. The models are also Filipino-made.

So now, the thought is that Filipinos build the bikes, but can they do the bike justice? KTM Philippines believes that there is talent in the country and that Filipinos can stack up on the world stage. The event then turned to the details of the Riders Academy, whose primary goal is to teach riders off-roading disciplines through its two master riders.
Last month, KTM Philippines sent over two riders to become certified elite coaches in Thailand along with 11 other riders from five different countries. The course that our elite coaches took involved KTM’s international coaches getting down and dirty with the rest of the group in order to teach the coaches how to teach other riders who are looking to improve their skills.

We got a taste of the course at the event and details if you want to enroll, and KTM showed us their test track along with a little crash course for customers and members of the media to try on the 390 Adventure and the 300 and 350 EXC bikes. Coaches were on site to provide some tips and advice.
There will be two courses for riders to choose from, ranging from an Adventure Riding course to an Enduro Riding course. There are three levels for each of the disciplines: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The higher up the ladder you go, the more there is to learn, and the courses will be held in the Alveria Country Club in Porac, Pampanga.
As for details and promotions regarding the event, head on over to your nearest KTM dealership and inquire.
