Kawasaki updates Vulcan lineup for 2022
New color options are in store for fans of Team Green’s Vulcan cruiser bikes.

The Vulcan lineup has long been one of Kawasaki's most popular sellers. Now the Japanese brand is looking to add to that by updating its cruisers with new color options for 2022. The Vulcan S 650, Vulcan 900 Custom, and Vulcan 1700 Vaquero are all getting new colorways.

The 2022 Vulcan S 650 gets a two-tone option in Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Metallic Matte Graphite Gray. A Pearl Robotic White option is also available. The Vulcan S 650 is powered by a 649 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC gasoline engine delivering 62 hp and 64 Nm of torque. The parallel-twin engine connects to a 4-speed manual transmission. It comes with ABS and an engine immobilizer for added safety.

Not to be outdone, the Vulcan 900 Custom now comes in a sleek two-tone Pearl Nightshade Teal/Metallic Graphite Gray. The Vulcan 900 Custom features a 903 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke DOHC gasoline engine outputting 50 hp and 78 Nm of torque. The V-twin engine connects to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Lastly, there's the lineup-topping Vulcan 1700 Vaquero. The Vaquero now comes in Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray. The Vaquero sports a powerful 1,700 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC gasoline engine that produces up to 73 hp and 136 Nm of torque. The V-twin engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. As for features, the Vaquero is loaded with ABS, electronic cruise control, and a high-spec audio system perfect for long rides.
Fans of the Kawasaki Vulcan lineup should be pleased with these new color options. Local enthusiasts may have to wait a bit longer for these cruisers to reach our shores. Nevertheless, the current-spec Vulcans are available locally. As for prices, the Vulcan S 650 is set at P415,000. The Vulcan 900 Custom comes in at P620,000. The Vulcan 1700 Vaquero is available for P860,000.
