Feast your eyes on the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
Team Green gives its flagship supersport a redesigned KRT livery.
Numerous supersport enthusiasts see the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R as the pinnacle of sportbikes. The redesigned ZX-10R was a cut above its predecessors when it had a makeover in 2021, with revamped bodywork, a new electronics package, and improved performance. The ZX-10R, which has won the WSBK championship six years in a row, is one of the most successful bikes in the world of racing.
Kawasaki has already revised the Ninja ZX-10R for the 2023 model year, with a release in the international market all but guaranteed. The modifications to Team Green's flagship supersport, which follow the newly revised Z900RS model range, are limited to stylistic adjustments, notably to the graphics. More precisely, the 2023 Ninja ZX-10R still wears the renowned Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) livery, but with a few minor changes to better resemble the WSBK race motorcycles. As a result, the new bike has more lime green components , fewer white elements, and red accents on the fascia and belly pan.
With the exception of the updated visuals, the Ninja ZX-10R hasn't changed, which makes sense. When the bike was updated in 2021, brand-new bodywork was added. An even bigger and thicker front fairing that was clearly more concerned with downforce and aerodynamics than anything else was used to replace the previous generation's aggressive fascia. Nevertheless, it has yet to win a WSBK championship, with Jonathan Rea on the new Ninja coming in second behind Toprak Razgatlioglu for the victory in 2021.
It goes without saying that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is one of the most powerful supersports currently on the market. It touts a 998cc inline four-cylinder engine with liquid cooling, fuel injection, and output of 203 horsepower and 82.5 ft-lbs of torque. Additionally, this class-leading superbike is equipped with a variety of technological rider aids that are all intended to maximize performance on the track. Additionally, a few features geared at the road, including cruise control, make it a reasonably respectable road bike.
