Enhance your riding skills with Suzuki’s GSX-R Racing Academy program
For those who want to take track riding seriously.

For most motorcycle enthusiasts, their love for two wheels was born from racing. Be it the early racing machines from over a century ago, to the cutting edge, high-tech racing bikes present in today’s MotoGP series, there’s always been something so exhilarating about motorcycle racing. As such, it’s only natural that those two-wheeled aficionados with a penchant for speed would try their hand in track riding.
As exhilarating and exciting as it may seem, track riding is a highly technical sport, and requires a lot of skill, dedication, and courage. Luckily, there are a lot of internationally acclaimed riding schools and instructors who offer their services to bring out the best in grassroots riders, as well as develop safe on-track riding habits. That said, Japanese motorcycle giant, and raining MotoGP champion, Suzuki, is offering track riding aficionados the chance to improve their skills under the tutelage of some of its finest instructors.
Suzuki’s newest GSX-R Academy will be led by highly respected instructors, and will focus on the brand’s highly successful GSX-R range of bikes, with the Suzuki GSX-R1000 taking center stage. The lesson plan consists of everything from proper riding position, etiquette, safety protocols, as well as technical sessions concerning line selection, throttle management, and tire preservation. The Suzuki GSX-R Racing Academy is a rather exclusive program, too, with one instructor mentoring just two students at a time.

The GSX-R Academy will consist of classroom sessions, as well as a total of 5, 20-minute track outings, with instructors paying close attention to the riding technique of each and every student. The event will be held in one of the most legendary racing circuits in Italy, the Mugello Circuit, and is currently scheduled for June 6, July 18, and October 17 of this year. Hopefully, by then the global pandemic would have eased substantially, and enthusiasts from across the word would have the opportunity to participate in this once in a lifetime experience.
Suzuki will be offering the course at a rate of €1,350, or around P78,3000 for those who would want to rent a Suzuki GSX-R sportbike, while gear can also be rented for an additional €180, or around P10,500. The package includes hospitality accommodations for all participants, including snacks and refreshments, as well as a lounge area for participants to relax while waiting for their next session.
