Dunlop launches the new Trailmax Raid for off-road focused ADV bikes
The Dunlop Trailmax Raid is the most off-road focused set of tires in the company’s arsenal.

Many people think that Dunlop is one of the best tire manufacturers for cars and motorcycles. The Trailmax Raid, Dunlop's most off-road-focused set of tires in its catalog, continues the brand's expansion of its product portfolio, which covers the bases of all motorcycle disciplines.
The Trailmax Raid was derived from the brand's rally raid program and features tread blocks that are comparable to those found in the D908 RR in terms of design. The substantial blocks have enough life to be ridden on the road when returning from off-road excursions while also providing excellent traction on loose surfaces like sand and gravel. The Trailmax Raid is designed for much more routine off-road use and builds on the Trailmax Meridian's success, which was introduced in 2020. More specifically, it is a 50/50 trail-road tire that works best with today's adventure-enduro machines like the Yamaha Tenere 700 and Aprilia Tuareg 660.

For 19-inch and 21-inch front wheels, Dunlop offers the Trailmax Raid in three sizes. In the meantime, Dunlop offers it in six sizes for rear wheels with 17- and 18-inch diameters. Regarding performance on the road, Dunlop asserts that the Trailmax Raid has excellent wet surface grip, maximizing cornering and braking traction. Having said that, Dunlop's expertise in touring, adventure, and off-road technology culminated in the Trailmax Raid. As a result, riders can anticipate a lot of adaptability from this set of tires, which are primarily designed for off-road use.
Riders will be able to get the most out of their adventure-enduro machines thanks to the Dunlop Trailmax Raid, which enhances the company's already impressive collection of tires geared toward adventure. The new Trailmax Raid is expected to go on sale on March 1, 2023, and the remaining sizes will be available in the second half of 2023.
