Yamaha Mio Sporty 115 Overview

The Yamaha Mio Sporty 115 is a scooter that wins the hearts of most Filipino motorcycle buyers of today. Notably, scooters have been a compelling option, given its esteemed traits as to fuel efficiency and easy drivability. In fact, scooters in automatic transmission have topped sales charts with 577,722 units sold last 2018, and the entire Mio lineup surely played a significant role on those numbers for being the number one AT in the Philippines since 2007. Currently, the Yamaha Mio Sporty is being offered in two variants, a Standard and a Euro 3 variant. Price ranges affordably from P66,900 to P67,900. It also has a wide range of colors to choose from including New Burgundy, Matte Green, Matte Black, Magenta, Purple, Yellow.

Despite being the most affordable model in the Mio lineup, the Mio Sporty is decently equipped with features such as halogen headlamp and tail lamp, and analog gauges.

In terms of powertrain, this two-wheeler gets a 114cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine which produces 8 hp and 7 Nm of torque. Like the rest of the Mio lineup, the engine is then paired with the brand’s V-belt automatic transmission.

Safety and security features include an engine check warning light, a pass switch, and a shutter lock.
