The bike has a weight of 245 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 20 liters.
For the 2022 model year, the Triumph Tiger 1200 has undergone significant upgrades. It now has a brand new 1160cc inline-triple cylinder engine that produces 148 hp at 9000rpm, making it the most powerful shaft drive motorcycle in its class. The torque has increased by 8Nm to 130Nm. The new model also features new bodywork, new technology, and new naming conventions.
The Tiger 1200's chassis is lighter by 5.5kgs compared to the previous model, thanks to the new tri-link setup that replaces the single-sided swingarm and the use of an aluminum fuel tank. The GT model has a suspension travel of 200mm at the front and back, while the Rally model has more travel due to its off-road nature. The GT has 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels with Metzeler Tourance tires, while the Rally model has a 21/18 tubeless spoked combination with dual-purpose tires.
