When you lay your eyes on the sleek and poised design of the Suzuki V-Strom motorcycles, it's clear that the Japanese brand has created authentic adventure touring bikes. The latest addition to the range, the V-Strom 1050 DE, is the most capable model yet, priced at P859,000 in the local market.

Designed for adventure, the motorcycle features an adjustable windscreen that reduces wind noise and protects the rider from the elements. The instrument panel, located behind the windscreen, displays information such as an analog tachometer, LCD speedometer, trip meter, gear position, coolant temperature, average fuel consumption, and clock. The lightweight luggage carrier at the back also includes a convenient handlebar.

Under the hood, the V-Strom 1050 DE is powered by a 1,037cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 107 horsepower and 106 Nm of torque, connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) system enhances torque at low revs and throttle response by optimizing exhaust pressure using a butterfly valve in the exhaust.

The V-Strom is equipped with disc brakes and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The 1050 DE model features traction control to prevent wheel spin and excessive throttle control, assisting riders in various road conditions during long-distance tours.
