The Suzuki GSX-8T and Suzuki GSX-8TT are middleweight neo-retro roadsters that blend classic styling with Suzuki’s latest twin-cylinder platform. Both are powered by a 776cc liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel-twin with a 270-degree crank, producing approximately 82hp at 8,500rpm and 78Nm at 6,800rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a standard bi-directional quickshifter, along with ride-by-wire throttle, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, traction control, Low RPM Assist, and ABS.
The bikes use a steel frame with an aluminum swingarm, inverted front forks, and a rear monoshock suspension setup. Braking is handled by dual front discs with radially mounted calipers and a rear single disc. Seat height is around 810mm, fuel capacity is 16.5L, and curb weight is just over 200kg, striking a balance between everyday usability and stable highway performance.
The key difference lies in styling. The GSX-8T carries a cleaner roadster look, while the GSX-8TT adds café-inspired touches for a more classic vibe. Both feature full LED lighting, a round LED headlamp, and a full-color TFT display. In the Philippines, the GSX-8T is priced at around ₱699,000, while the GSX-8TT comes in at approximately ₱729,000.
