The Sunra S1 is a compact electric bicycle-scooter hybrid built around a patented design developed entirely in-house by Sunra's team — a distinctly futuristic, tech-forward aesthetic that sets it apart from conventional scooter styling. It comes in two variants calibrated for different regulatory environments and rider needs. Version 1 runs a 500W EEC-certified motor with a 48V 26Ah graphene battery and a 6 MOSFET controller, topping out at 30 km/h with a claimed range of 60 km at 25 km/h under a 75 kg standard load — figures that align it with low-speed electric bicycle classifications in most markets. Version 2 steps up to an 800W motor, a 60V 26Ah graphene battery, and a 12 MOSFET controller, lifting top speed to 45 km/h and extending claimed range to 70 km at 40 km/h under the same load conditions. Both variants use graphene battery chemistry, which offers improved charge acceptance and thermal characteristics compared to standard lithium-ion cells.
The two variants share an identical chassis — 1,560 x 700 x 1,055mm overall with a 1,100mm wheelbase — making the S1 one of the more compact options in the Sunra lineup and well-suited to tight urban environments. Braking is handled by a disc and drum combination on both versions, and both roll on 2.75-10-inch tubeless tires. The S1 is positioned for riders who want something lighter and more city-specific than a full electric moped, with the choice between variants coming down largely to whether low-speed bicycle-class compliance or higher urban performance is the priority.
