Moto Morini is a popular Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1937 by Alfonso Morini. Before that, Morini also made motorcycles in partnership with Mario Mazzetti, named as MM. Fast forward to 1987, Morini became under the management of Cagiva, another motorcycle manufacturer under Giovanni Castiglioni and then was moved under the Texas Pacific Group, which also bought the brand Ducati.
In 1999, the brand's rights were bought by Morini Franco Motori spa founded by Morini's nephew. Unfortunately, Moto Morini closed down in late 2010 after creating its large v-twin motorcycles. The company was able to rise back up and restarted its motorcycle production in 2012.
Moto Morini entered the Philippine market in 2017 through Bikerbox, Inc., the exclusive importer-distributor of Moto Morini Motorcycles, Accessories, and Aftersales Services in the country. Its showroom is located in Sucat, Paranaque City.
Among its well-known models in the local market are the Scrambler, the Granpasso, and the Corsaro 1200 ZZ.
