To conquer more challenging terrain, the KTM 690 Enduro R embraces upgraded electronics and suspension system. It’s also an exciting machine, as it’s basically a dirt bike with the appropriate lights to make it road-legal. Introduced in 2018, the 690 Enduro R is retailed at P790,000.
Key features of this bike are a gear indicator in the instruments that’s a mix of analog and digital, an adjustable suspension, and a fuel map selector. That particular feature may interest you, because what it does is map the Enduro R for lower grade fuel, just in case the bike runs out of somewhere with only alternative fuels and no gas stations.
Power output from the 654cc engine codenamed the ‘LC4,’ are 74 hp and 73.5 Nm of torque, respectively. The mill is liquid-cooled, has four strokes, and one cylinder. Accompanying this is a 6-speed transmission that also has a chain-driven final drive.
The rider is kept safe with disc brakes on both wheels and an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).
