KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo Overview

The KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO is the Austrian brand's most advanced adventure tourer to date, and it makes no apologies for it. At its core is a 1350cc liquid-cooled LC8 V-twin — up 49cc from its predecessor, producing 170 hp and 145 Nm of torque. The extra displacement comes paired with Camshift, KTM's variable valve timing system that adjusts inlet cam timing depending on engine speed, delivering strong low-end tractability and a hard-hitting top end without compromising either. Power goes through a six-speed Automated Manual Transmission which allows riders to shift manually via paddles or foot lever, or hand everything over to fully automatic mode.

The technology stack beyond the drivetrain is equally serious. A fifth-generation Bosch front radar sensor enables Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go functionality, automatically bringing the bike to a halt in traffic and resuming when the road clears. WP Semi-Active Suspension adjusts damping in real time across four selectable modes, while the standard electronics suite covers cornering ABS, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, a keyless system, and multiple ride modes — all managed through an eight-inch portrait-mount touchscreen with an anti-glare, optically bonded display.

Optional upgrades include Rally Mode, Hill Hold Control, and a Suspension Pro package for riders who want even more control over setup. With a 23-liter fuel tank and a claimed weight of 227 kg, the 1390 Super Adventure S EVO is a substantial machine built for riders who want the most capable, most connected adventure tourer available at any price point.
