Kawasaki KLX300 Overview

The 2026 Kawasaki KLX300 is a lightweight dual-sport motorcycle powered by a 292 cc liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder engine with a bore and stroke of 78.0 × 61.2 mm and a compression ratio of 11.1 : 1. It delivers around 25 PS (approx. 18 kW) at 8,000 rpm, offering a strong mid-range punch tailored for both off-road and street riding.

Power is managed via a six-speed transmission with a standard chain drive. Braking includes a 250 mm front petal disc with a twin-piston caliper and a 240 mm rear petal disc with a single-piston caliper.

The chassis features a perimeter steel frame with a 43 mm inverted cartridge fork and a Uni-Trak rear suspension. These provide about 254 mm of front travel and 231 mm at the rear, tuned for mixed-surface riding

Dimensions and weights are as follows: a wheelbase of 1,441 mm; ground clearance of 274 mm; seat height of 894 mm; dry weight of approximately 128 kg; curb weight around 137 kg; and fuel capacity of 7.6 liters.

Additional features include LED lighting, a radiator fan for hot weather, digital instrumentation, and KX-inspired styling.
