Indian Chieftain Overview

The Indian Chieftain is the brand’s base model bagger that's meant to go touring for miles in comfort and ease. For the Philippine market, this touring bike is made available with only one ABS variant which retails at P1,765,000.

The 100-watt audio system keeps you entertained with your favorite music during those long haul road trips. Its large padded seat offers plentiful storage, while the electronically-adjustable windscreen gives the rider added protection from the sudden gusts of wind.

This bike is powered by a 1,900cc Thunder Stoke V-Twin, 2-cylinder engine that's capable of producing a healthy 92 hp and 168 Nm of torque. This mill is then paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Moreover, it also gets a 46mm telescopic front fork with paired with a single-shock rear suspension.

Bringing the Chieftain to a stop are dual 300mm floating discs with a front 4-piston caliper and a single 300mm floating disc with a 2-piston caliper for the rear. Lastly, this bike gets an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard.
