Would you like to see the Benda Greystone BD300 in the Philippines?
Could it put up a fight against the Royal Enfield Meteor 350?

Benda is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer which recently made headlines after launching the LFC700 cruiser in China. This power cruiser boasts a massive 300-section rear tire, a 700cc inline-four engine and rugged, angular styling. While this cruiser is cool, hip, and sporty, Benda has also released a new beginner-friendly cruiser which is more likely to be a more popular choice especially among newbie riders.
Dubbed the Benda Greystone BD300-16, it’s basically an updated version of the Jinjira BD300-15. Launched in China last week, there’s a big possibility that this bike will make its way to the international market, and who knows? Maybe we could see this bike in the Philippines sometime soon. That said, let’s take a closer look at this sporty cruiser, shall we?

The Benda Greystone BD300-16 draws power from a 298cc V-twin motor equipped with electronic fuel injection and liquid cooling. An eight-valve cylinder head with dual overhead cams helps this little motor pump out a rather healthy 31 horsepower. A standard six-speed manual transmission equipped with a slipper assist clutch transfers power to the back wheel with a belt final-drive, just like traditional American cruisers. Interestingly, Benda has fitted 16-inch front and rear wheels with 130-section and 150-section tires on the front and rear respectively.
From a styling point of view, the Benda BD300 gets a sleek twin exhaust system, wide high-rise handlebars for a comfortable upright seating position, and muscular bodywork which accentuates the bike’s sporty nature. The Greystone BD300 gets full-LED lighting, dual channel ABS, and a fancy full-color TFT display. As for pricing and availability, the Benda BD300 is expected to retail at around CNY 20,000, or roughly P153,000–pretty incredible value for the price.
