VinFast lines up 14 more dealer partners ahead of Philippine e-scooter launch
Are you ready for VinFast’s two-wheelers' upcoming arrival?
VinFast is making some serious moves in the Philippine two-wheeler market. The Vietnamese automaker has officially signed on 14 additional dealer partners for its local e-scooter rollout, building on the initial batch of motorcycle dealers it announced a few months back when it first revealed plans to bring its electric scooter lineup to the country.
The new dealer partners will be setting up VinFast e-scooter outlets across key urban centers, covering Metro Manila, Davao, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Cebu, Bulacan, and several other major provincial hubs. The full list of newly signed partners includes Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation, Gentrade International Phils., Inc. (Transcycle), Superbikes Corporation, Motoxpress Sales Corporation, FMN Industrial Corporation, Eduhome Enterprise, Inc., Keymotors Incorporated, Motorpro by Abenson Ventures Inc., Aserco, Moto Atelier Inc., Ciclo Suerte, HG Motorzone, HGC Main Marketing (Motorboy), BLC Cycle Parts Supply, and Auto Ten Trade & Services Corporation.
All of this is building toward a planned June 2026 launch date, when VinFast expects its dealer network to already be up and running.
On the product side, VinFast Philippines is set to open with three e-scooter models: the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper. All three come equipped with swappable batteries, which positions them squarely within the growing conversation around practical EV ownership in a market that still has range anxiety concerns. It won't be an easy fight, though, as the local motorcycle segment is one of the more competitive in Southeast Asia, with well-entrenched brands already holding strong customer loyalty.
“Our partnerships with 14 major dealers in the Philippines mark an important step in rapidly establishing a strong distribution and service foundation from the outset. We are not only introducing products tailored to local needs, but also developing an integrated ecosystem, from battery-swapping infrastructure to after-sales services, enabling consumers to access and adopt e-scooters in a convenient, efficient, and sustainable manner.”
Based on what VinFast E-Scooters Overseas Market Managing Director Vo Thi Cam Thu had to say, the company is clearly thinking beyond a straightforward product launch, with the battery-swap network and after-sales support forming the backbone of their long-term local strategy.
