Vespa opens new dealership in SM Mall of Asia
It’s the perfect bookend to Vespa’s 75th anniversary.
Vespa Philippines has opened its newest branch inside SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The opening comes as a feather in the Italian brand's cap as it celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2021.
The dealership's opening was led by three experienced entrepreneurs, each a leader in their respective industries. Through its new Mall of Asia location, the brand aims to build a new breed of Vespa enthusiasts in the Philippines. The newly-opened branch will be among the first to receive premium flagship models like the Vespa GTS 300. Customers will also be offered perks such as a VIP membership card and access to the exclusive Sunday Coffee Club.
The pandemic magnified the Filipino’s interest in riding motorcycles. We saw the opportunity for this market to expand, seeing that a lot of us really became outdoor people during the pandemic. Weekend rides for motorcycle groups are getting more popular, and SM Mall of Asiais really one of the more popular destinations for these groups. So it made sense to open a branch here so these enthusiasts can have a place to meet and hang out
New customers who purchase a Vespa unit will automatically receive a VIP membership card, opening up a world of exclusive discounts for parts and services. The benefits include up to a 10 percent discount on parts and accessories as well as up to 15 percent off services at Vespa Mall of Asia. Customers with existing Vespa units can become VIP members with an accumulated purchase of P10,000 for parts and services.
By January 2022, the new location looks to launch the Sunday Coffee Club, a weekly gathering of enthusiasts coming together over complimentary coffee. With the opening of the Vespa SM Mall of Asia dealership, riders in and around the south of Manila will get to experience the pure joy that is Vespa ownership.
