Triumph unveils special Tiger 900 GT and Rally Aragon editions in the global market
The two special-edition Tigers commemorate Triumph’s success in the Baja España Aragón.
Triumph, an iconic British motorcycle brand, has achieved significant popularity in the Philippine market. One of its highly sought-after models is the Tiger, available in two appealing variations – the 900 and the 1200. Both versions of the Tiger have garnered a strong following among motorcycle enthusiasts in the country, thanks to their powerful performance and reliable engineering.
Triumph has expanded its presence in the global market by introducing special edition versions of the Tiger 900: the Tiger 900 GT Aragon and Tiger 900 Rally Aragon. These exclusive models were launched to celebrate the brand's triumph at the prestigious Baja España Aragón race, which took place from July 22 to 24, 2022. The event witnessed the remarkable achievement of five-time enduro world champion, Ivan Cervantes, who skillfully rode a specially prepared Tiger 900 Rally to victory in the Trail category.
Let's begin with the 2024 Tiger 900 Rally Aragón Edition. Its exterior design takes inspiration from Cervantes' competition bike used in 2022, presenting a striking color combination of Matte Phantom Black, Matte Graphite, and Crystal White. Complementing the overall look are Racing Yellow accents and distinct Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition decals. A notable addition to this version is the two-tone seat design, enhancing its visual appeal. Furthermore, Triumph has equipped the Rally Aragón Edition with specialized Showa forks, meticulously tuned to elevate its off-road capabilities, making it an exceptional choice for adventurous riders seeking enhanced performance on rough terrains.
The GT Aragón Edition boasts an eye-catching color scheme comprising Diablo Red, Matte Phantom Black, and Crystal White, which perfectly complements the Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition graphics also present on the Rally Edition. The GT Edition takes its performance to the next level with fully adjustable 1.8-inch upside-down Marzocchi cartridge forks, ensuring superior handling and ride comfort. Additionally, the electronically adjustable rear suspension unit further enhances the overall riding experience, making the GT Aragón Edition a truly exceptional motorcycle for riders seeking both style and top-notch performance.
As of now, there is no confirmation whether these special edition models, the GT Aragón Edition and the Rally Aragón Edition, will be available in the Philippine market. However, motorcycle enthusiasts in the Philippines can still purchase the standard version of the Tiger 900, which offers impressive features and performance. The local market offers two models: the Tiger 900 GT, with a starting price of P1,010,000, and the Tiger 900 Rally Pro, which starts at P1,170,000.
