Suzuki Philippines celebrates 50-year milestone with One Suzuki Kick-Off Ride
The Japanese manufacturer has become a dominant player in the Philippine two- and four-wheeled market.

For over 50 years, Suzuki has become a staple in mobility, offering a wide range of vehicles from motorcycles and cars to marine products. In the Philippines, Suzuki is known for its solid lineup, including the Suzuki Raider underbone, the GSX-R1000 and V-Strom 800 DE big bikes, and even the Suzuki Swift, Jimny, and XL7 Hybrid automobiles. The brand has built a reputation for quality and reliability, and it’s clear that Suzuki isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Suzuki Philippines recently kicked off its 50th Anniversary with the One Suzuki Kick-Off Ride, a two-day event that brought together the brand’s Motorcycle, Automobile, and Marine Divisions. The event, held on January 28-29, 2025, celebrated Suzuki’s achievements in the country and set the tone for what’s to come this year.

The event was a hit, with over 60 media influencers and personalities attending. It kicked off with a thrilling ride from Suzuki’s plant in Laguna, where motorcycle media got to experience some of Suzuki’s most popular bikes, including the Raider R150 Fi, Burgman Street, and V-Strom 250 SX. Meanwhile, automotive media took the Suzuki Jimny 5-Door and XL7 Hybrid for a scenic drive to Pico de Loro, Batangas.
Suzuki didn’t just focus on motorcycles and cars; the marine division also showcased its powerful outboard motors. Nine boats, all powered by Suzuki’s Twin DF300 and DF350s, took the guests on a sunset cruise across the waters of Nasugbu, Batangas. It was a fantastic way to show off Suzuki’s versatility, with products that perform just as well on the road as they do on the water.
The event wasn’t just about the products—it was also about celebrating Suzuki’s success in the Philippines. With over 4,200 outlets nationwide, Suzuki continues to be one of the top five automotive brands in the country. They’ve earned the trust of Filipinos through high-quality vehicles and strong relationships with their dealer network.

Looking ahead, Suzuki is excited about the future. The brand has been growing steadily, and 2024 saw more than a 10% growth in the automobile sector. With new models like the Jimny 5-Door and XL7 Hybrid, Suzuki is committed to bringing even more exciting vehicles to the market.
