Royal Enfield has pulled off one of the most unexpected collaborations in motorcycling by teaming up with London’s Royal Albert Hall for a spectacle called The Ballad of the Bullet. The event marked the global debut of the new Bullet 650 at EICMA 2025, blending music, film, and motorcycling heritage into one of the most creative reveals the brand has ever done.

The Royal Albert Hall, a 5,000-seat landmark that’s hosted everything from classical concerts to rock shows, became the stage for a story that ties British orchestral tradition with Indian rhythm. At the heart of it all was Rushil Ranjan, a composer, musician, and lifelong Royal Enfield fan. He created an original score inspired by the Bullet’s unmistakable rhythm and legacy, combining the grandeur of the Hall’s 154-year-old organ with South Indian Chenda and Parai drums for the first time in its history.

The film itself, shown at EICMA, puts the Bullet 650 in the spotlight—literally—inside the Hall’s massive auditorium. It’s a visual and musical reinterpretation of the bike’s long history, retelling the story of soldiers, riders, and dreamers who’ve shaped its legend over nearly a century.

Matthew Todd, Director of Programming at the Royal Albert Hall, described the project as a “masterful blend of Indian culture and British orchestral aesthetics,” while Royal Enfield’s Chief Brand Officer, Mohit Dhar Jayal, called it “a beautiful example of what happens when two storied institutions and an iconic machine are harmonised.”

As for Ranjan, he’s no stranger to big stages. Known for his Orchestral Qawwali Project, his fusion of global classical traditions and contemporary sound has filled the Royal Albert Hall, the Roundhouse, and Dubai’s Al Wasl Plaza. He’s also set to collaborate with A.R. Rahman on Rangreza in 2026 and continues to mentor young artists through the Hall’s Engagement program.

For Royal Enfield, the partnership is a poetic celebration of its most enduring motorcycle. The Bullet has been in continuous production for 96 years, making it one of the longest-running models in the world. It’s a living story of craftsmanship, culture, and community—and now, thanks to The Ballad of the Bullet, it’s also a work of art set to music.

The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is expected to go on sale in international markets soon, likely priced around £6,000 (roughly P440,000). Its appearance at such an iconic venue cements not just its place in motorcycling history, but in modern culture as well.
