Ride PH Cafe showcase for 2020 in Metrowalk
Jay Taruc Hosts Second Ride PH Café, a visual feast for motorcycle lovers.
Last Saturday, the 2020 Ride PH Café was held at the MetroTent in Ortigas Center, Pasig. Hundreds of motorcycle riders and enthusiasts were in attendance. Organized by Jay Taruc, a veteran reporter, and known motorcycle enthusiast, the event provides as a proper venue for like-minded riders and enthusiasts to get together and check out the latest releases of moto gear, motorcycles, accessories, and everything related to this fast-growing scene.
Hundreds of motorcycles and scooters adorned the place from Vespas, Bonnevilles, Royal Enfields, Ducatis, and Indians. Everyone was quick to show off their steeds parked upfront.
Harley Davidson displayed their latest models of their Sportster Range, the 2020 Forty-Eight, and the Roadster 1200. They also showcased their legendary touring machine, the 2020 RoadKing Special.
TM Racing, a new motorcycle brand specializing in dirtbikes and motard bikes also showed off their latest product offerings.
Kawasaki displayed their latest models of the Vulcan, Z900RS Café Racer, and W175 Classic naked bike.
Vespa displayed several custom bikes on the floor and later on announced its Philippine delegates to represent the country on the Vespa World Days 2020, to be held on July 23-26, 2020 at Pantai Mertsari, Bali, Indonesia.
A small exhibit of motorcycle-inspired art pieces was curated by Secret Fresh in a small art space which featured works by Alfred “Wild” Aranda, Bing Basit, Ben Chan, Erick Encinares, Jenna V. Genio, Krizel Hidalgo, Noel Marfori, Jiggs Pascua, Jake Versoza, and 13 Lucky Monkey.
Royal Enfield displayed their lineup of 650 twins, Himalayan, and Classic 500 Motorcycles. They were quick to announce that owning a new Royal Enfield Motorcycle is now easier than ever with their new zero-interest finance schemes.
Scrambler Ducatis adorned the Ducati display showing off the Sixty2, Desert Sled, and their latest addition to the lineup, the IconDark.
BMW Motorrad lined up their space with several customized R nineT’s belonging to their customers and displayed their offerings for the R nineT lineup.
Flat-track inspired Indian FTR 1200’s with two different color schemes were showcased on the Indian Motorcycle space.
Dozens of custom motorcycles, from Ducati Paul Smart 1000’s, Triumph Bonnevilles, classic Honda CB’s, and Royal Enfields were displayed at the center of the MetroTent for the delight of the attendees.
Outside the MetroTent was a small test track where people were free to try out motorcycles from the participating brands including Triumph, Indian, Ducati, and Vespa.
With hundreds of attendees present in the 2020 Ride PH Café, people from all walks of life gathered to celebrate and witness the continued growth of the motorcycle scene in the country. With various participating brands launching their latest product offerings, it seems that this scene is nowhere near slowing down.
