The new Honda Click 125 is officially launched—Price starts at P80,900
The new Click 125 features a new look for 2023, new convenience features, and five colors all for just under P81,000.
Honda Philippines held a launch event last Sunday, December 11, 2022, to show members of the media, influencers, and vloggers the all-new Honda Click 125 scooter. The event was held in the Market! Market! Activity center with a stage, DJ, and host ready to launch the hotly-anticipated scooter.
The Honda Click 125 has long been a popular scooter for the Philippine market, and it is one of the models responsible for Honda’s continued prevalence in the market as one of the top and most sought-after brands in the country. Along with the recently-launched Click 160, the new Click 125 completes the Click lineup and rounds out the updated scooter offerings of Big H for 2023. On top of that, Honda has also announced that the Click 125 is a locally-assembled unit, made in the same factory as the Honda BeAT 110.
New for 2023, we get a new body for the Click 125. Honda stated that the new Click has a “New Sporty Design” for its body, which is further enhanced by the new decal design. There are also new cast aluminum wheels painted in black for all the color options. New LED lights are also fitted onto the Click, giving riders a good view of the road even at night. The Click’s storage box under the seat comes in at 18 liters, enough to fit an open-face helmet, though your mileage may vary.
The wheels come in at the same 14-inch diameter front and rear, but the new Click 125 gets a width upgrade and it now sports tubeless tires that are 90/80/14 in the front and 100/80/14 in the rear.
Other additions to the new Click include a wavy brake rotor, which Honda claims, will enhance brake cooling and efficiency in addition to looking cooler than the previous model. On top of that, Honda is still giving the Click its Combi Brake system, which will assure riders of braking power should there be a need for an emergency stop.
As for technology features, we get all-LED lighting from the headlights, taillights, and indicator lights. There is also an LCD panel for the gauge cluster that shows trip, fuel economy, speed, and other bits of information that you may need. Honda also touted that the new Click will also receive a new USB Type-A port with up to 2.1 amps of charging, a feature that will surely be convenient for riders who are out all day or out on a long ride.
Safety and security features for the Click include the aforementioned Combi Brake system, as well as the secure key shutter.
Pricing for the Honda Click 125 is set at P80,900 and customers can choose from up to five colors to choose from which include: Obsidian Black, Pearl Crimson Red, Pearl Arctic White, Stellar Blue Metallic, and Sylvestris Gray Metallic.
