It goes without saying that the KTM 390 Adventure has been one of the most highly anticipated motorcycles of 2020. With the adventure segment beginning to trickle down into the smaller displacement category, not only has adventure riding become more accessible, it has become more fun and adventurous as well.
This is largely due to the fact that smaller displacement machines like the Honda CB500X, and of course, the KTM 390 Adventure weigh a lot less compared to their much bigger siblings. Built off the highly acclaimed KTM 390 Duke platform, the 390 Adventure is equipped with a 373 cc single-cylinder engine that pumps out a snappy 42 hp. Yes, just like the Duke and RC 390, the 390 Adventure is expressway legal with 400 cc indicated in the Certificate of Registration.

The 390 Adventure is equipped with a plethora of electronic rider aids which truly put it in a class of its own. Equipped with IMU-powered traction control and cornering ABS, the 390 Adventure also comes with WP suspension that features preload and rebound adjustability on both ends. For a slight upcharge, you could avail of the bidirectional quick shifter that makes banging through gears a thoroughly exhilarating rush.
Transferring the power to the ground is a set of Continental TKC 70 tires which are a class-leading adventure tire commonly found on bigger high performance machines. The KTM 390 Adventure’s punchy power delivery, plus premium underpinnings mated to a featherweight 379 lbs truly makes for a riot both on and off-road. Priced at just P309,000, this machine is by far one of the best bang for the buck adventure bikes in the market today. It’s available in 2 colors, in true KTM fashion: white and orange.
