Honda Philippines holds successful Trail Ride 2022 featuring CRF dual-sport bikes
Off-road enthusiasts were able to explore the landscape of Negros Oriental.
A thrilling off-road riding event with the theme "Feel Your Adventure" was recently held in Negros Oriental province by Honda Philippines Inc., the nation's largest motorcycle manufacturer by sales volume. The location highlights Sibulan as the starting point while traversing the trail up to the mountainous landscape of Valencia.
The "Feel Your Adventure" theme, according to HPI Vice President for MC Sales and Supply Chain Management Jomel Jerezo, highlights the Honda CRF's outstanding off-road capabilities and characteristics. “We chose to have the first Trail Ride in Negros Oriental as we want to honor the strong fan base and high demand for the CRF here in Dumaguete, and the rest of the Negros Province”. Jerezo also stated that the objective is to motivate more customers to advance their CRF experience. “We want to expand the off-road and more customers to choose red, and to Ride Red,” which pertains to the Honda off-road lifestyle using the CRF.
Owners of the CRF150L and CRF300L who took part in the Trail Ride came from a variety of locations, including Sibulan, Dumaguete City, Guihulgan, Jimalalud, Zamboanguita, and even San Carlos City. The 70-km trail route, which included a mixture of dirt, mud, rock, and concrete terrain and passed the Mag-aso Sulfur Vent, was prepared for them by the Trail Master and Team Leader for Safety Riding. The trip came to an end at Valencia's far, expansive mountain vistas, where all of the riders were able to take in the beauty of the area's wonderful water stream, terrain, peaks, and observation decks.
The CRF range of dual-sport motorcycles, which is recognized as the model that paved the way in the world of off-road riding and motorsports, achieved another milestone in 2022 as it celebrates its 50th anniversary. The CRF is also the most well-known motorbike in the off-road community thanks to its lengthy and successful history, which is highlighted by its astounding victories in World Championship events like the prestigious Dakar Rally, MXGP, AMA Supercross, and AMA Motocross.
Honda looks forward to holding more off-road events focusing on its massively popular CRF range of motorcycles in the near future. More specifically, Honda has Luzon and MIndanao in its sights for future off-road rides. That being said, be sure to stay tuned for updates regarding these events.
