Ducati unveils 5 Panigale Race Replicas to celebrate racing success
Ducati’s been an unstoppable force in both MotoGP and WSBK, and these new bikes pay tribute to that success.
Ducati's 2023 successes have sparked the release of five exclusive collector's edition Panigales. Inspired by the triumphs of riders like Bagnaia, Bautista, Bulega, Martin, and Bezecchi in MotoGP, WorldSBK, and WorldSSP, these limited series bikes encompass four Panigale V4 models and one Panigale V2. Each bears the original signature of the respective rider on the tank and arrives with a certificate of authenticity alongside technical equipment and a wooden shipping crate, adding flair to the collector's appeal.
Unveiled at the vibrant "Campioni in Festa" event, Ducati celebrated its remarkable season while launching these distinctive bikes. Adorned with the rider's autograph protected by a transparent varnish, these models stand as unique tributes to their racing achievements. The trio of Panigale V4s pays homage to Ducati's MotoGP dominance, honoring Bagnaia, Martin, and Bezzecchi's bikes. Reflecting the brand's consecutive victories in MotoGP from 2022 to 2023, these models exude the Desmosedici GP essence.
In parallel, a dedicated Panigale V4R commemorates the brand's WSBK successes, inspired by Alvaro Bautista's bike, marking Ducati's consecutive years atop WSBK. Completing the lineup, the Panigale V2, dedicated to Nicolò Bulega's WorldSSP race bike, celebrates the team's 2023 world title. This model boasts Öhlins suspension, Akrapovič racing silencers, and a host of carbon fiber components, trimming the bike's weight by 11 pounds and enhancing its performance.
Enhancements across the V4s include a nine-disc STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, Akrapovič homologated silencer, Brembo Stylema R calipers, MCS master cylinder with remote adjustment, Rizoma billet aluminum footpegs, and purpose-built plexiglass.
Meanwhile, the special edition Bulega Panigale V2 boasts Öhlins suspension, Akrapovič racing silencers for weight reduction, Rizoma adjustable billet aluminum footpegs, and a suite of carbon fiber guards. To align even closer with the racing bike, options like the number plate and mirror removal kit, along with a billet aluminum racing tank cap, are available.
