CFMOTO unveils the all-new 450CL-C cruiser in China
It’s powered by a variation of the new parallel-twin engine found in the 450NK naked streetfighter.

Lately, CFMoto, one of the fastest growing Chinese motorcycle makers, has been quite active, introducing a variety of fresh and captivating models worldwide. The company has recently revealed its global debut of the 450NK, a high-quality motorcycle designed with beginners in mind. This sleek naked bike is targeted towards riders seeking a versatile and dynamic option.

After unveiling the 450NK, CFMoto has now introduced the 450CL-C in the Chinese market. This relaxed cruiser is positioned as a blend of style and comfort, sharing the same underlying platform as the 450NK. Let's examine this fresh, retro-inspired cruiser more closely. As per CFMoto's description, the 450CL-C is hailed as a meticulously crafted masterpiece that captures attention from every angle. Undoubtedly, in terms of aesthetics, the 450CL-C can be characterized as an attractive machine, blending elements of both retro and contemporary design. Its rounded fuel tank and circular LED headlight evoke a sense of vintage styling, while the incorporation of inverted front forks, dual-channel ABS, and the partially exposed trellis frame represent modern features.

Undoubtedly, the most prominent feature of this motorcycle lies in its engine. Just like the 450NK, CFMoto has equipped the 450CL-C with its brand-new 449cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, parallel-twin engine featuring a 270-degree crankshaft. This setup results in an engine note and power delivery akin to a 90-degree V-twin, which is well-suited for the cruiser segment. In terms of performance, the 450CL-C generates 40 horsepower (30 kilowatts) at 8,000 rpm and 42 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual transmission, and notably, a Gates Belt Drive is utilized for this purpose.

The foundation of this cruiser comprises an inverted front fork with 37-millimeter fork tubes and a centrally positioned rear monoshock. For braking, it sports a single 320-millimeter disc brake in the front and a 220-millimeter disc at the rear. Additionally, it boasts safety features such as standard traction control and dual-channel ABS for enhanced security.
