CFMOTO stands out among the many Chinese motorcycle makers as one of the most esteemed. By establishing a partnership with the prominent Austrian company KTM, CFMOTO manufactures the 790 engines for KTM. Additionally, CFMOTO has developed its own versions of the KTM 790 Duke and Adventure models, known as the 800 NK and 800 MT respectively.
In China, CFMOTO has recently introduced a diverse lineup of new models, among which the 450 NK stands out as particularly intriguing. This agile and lightweight naked bike is derived from CFMOTO's existing model, the 450 SR. What sets this compact sportbike apart from other options in the entry-level category is its impressive engine. The 450 NK is equipped with a 449cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, parallel-twin engine featuring a 270-degree crankshaft configuration. This design gives the bike a robust sound and power delivery reminiscent of a 90-degree V-twin engine, similar to what Yamaha has implemented in their 700cc motorcycles. The 450 SR generates 50 horsepower at 10,000 rpm, suggesting that the 450 NK will likely offer a comparable level of performance.

In terms of aesthetics, the 450 NK showcases a contemporary design with sharp, angular bodywork that exudes a sporty appeal. It incorporates advanced technology features such as a vibrant full-color TFT display, full LED lighting, and a lightweight aluminum swingarm. The emphasis on lightweight construction is noteworthy, as the 450 SR was already recognized for its lightweight build. However, the 450 NK takes it a step further by eliminating fairings, resulting in a reduced weight. CFMOTO claims an impressive wet weight of 175 kilograms for the bike, positioning it as one of the lighter twin-cylinder naked motorcycles available in the market.
CFMOTO maintains its tradition of outfitting the 450 NK with high-quality components sourced from renowned original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), as seen across its other models. Notably, the bike features suspension components from KYB, including an inverted front fork and a link-type monoshock at the rear. The braking system is supplied by Brembo's subsidiary J.Juan, featuring a radial four-piston caliper at the front and dual-channel ABS. Furthermore, CFMOTO incorporates Bosch's electronic fuel-injection system into the 450 NK, ensuring efficient and precise fuel delivery. The motorcycle also offers smartphone connectivity with Bluetooth functionality, as well as navigation capabilities.
