CFMOTO Philippines holds successful first-ever MT Challenge in Pampanga
The event showcased local riding talent, and the capabilities of the CFMOTO 450MT.

Adventure riding isn’t just about the bike—it’s about pushing limits, laughing through the chaos, and coming out the other side with stories worth retelling. That’s exactly what went down at the inaugural CFMOTO MT Challenge Philippines, held on July 5–6 at Montclair Destination Estate in Pampanga. It was muddy, messy, and at times completely unhinged—but that’s what made it unforgettable.
The weather didn’t play nice. Rain turned the trails into slick, rutted obstacle courses, and every climb, creek crossing, and technical section became a real test of grit. But the riders didn’t flinch. Nine three-man teams threw themselves into the challenge, not just racing the clock, but relying on teamwork, quick thinking, and some serious off-road skills to make it through.
At the heart of it all was the CFMOTO 450MT—an adventure bike that’s clearly more than just spec-sheet flex. With a 449cc parallel-twin engine, a torquey 270-degree crank, and proper long-travel KYB suspension, it held its own across every gnarly section the course could throw at it. Whether chugging through rivers or muscling over muddy switchbacks, the bike just kept going. For a bike that costs just P338,900, that’s saying a lot.

And while there was plenty of competition, the spirit of the event leaned more toward camaraderie. Riders helped each other out, cheered each other on, and shared trail tips and tools between stages. Still, someone had to win, and this time it was Team Wheeltek ADVenduro who rose above the rest. They’re not just taking home brand-new CFMOTO 230 DUALs—they’re also heading to Australia this October to represent the Philippines in the MT Challenge global finals.
Team WWR TNR EAP and Team Enduro Factory also landed on the podium, proving that the local off-road scene has serious talent ready to go global.
Behind the scenes, a rock-solid roster of partners helped make it all happen, from gear and tire sponsors to riding coaches and media support. Shoutout to Coach Mel Aquino, and Sebastian Dela Cruz, and of course, MotoDeal’s very own Jinno Rufino for keeping the energy high and the weekend rolling smooth—even when the trails weren’t.

For CFMOTO, this wasn’t just a brand exercise. It was a statement. The MT Challenge isn’t about selling bikes—it’s about building a real community of adventure riders who are down to get dirty and go the distance. And if this muddy, loud, and ridiculously fun weekend was any indication, they’re off to a strong start.
