BMW is updating the G 310 R and G 310 GS for 2022
BMW’s entry-level models get striking new color options.

BMW Motorrad is updating two of its entry-level bikes: the G 310 R and G 310 GS. For 2022, BMW's naked and adventure touring models are getting new colors and graphics.
First introduced in 2016, the G 310 R and G 310 GS are BMW's most affordable models in the market. Despite their lower price points, these bikes pack a punch with their looks, engines, and safety features.

The two bikes are set to get a new power plant for 2022, in the form of a 313cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC engine. Power connects to a 6-speed manual gearbox for a top speed of 143 km/h. The new models keep the electronic throttle control feature for peak responsiveness. Automatic speed control is also carried over to keep riders safe when accelerating from a stop. Additionally, the G 310 R and G 310 GS still features the slipper clutch and ride-by-wire system.
As for looks, the G 310 R and G 310 GS get several updates. Full LED headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and LED turn signals are new for the 2022 models. The new lighting system is both stylish and practical, helping the new BMWs look more modern while giving their riders great visibility.

New color options are also in store for 2022, with the G 310 R getting a Cosmic Black Shade and Kyanite Blue Metallic Rallye colorways. The former includes black side panels and cowling, and the latter gets red alloy wheels to complete the looks.
The new models are set to debut before the end of 2021, and the current-spec BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS are available in the Philippines. The 2021 G 310 R features a 313cc engine, capable of 34 hp and 28 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It comes standard with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and a pass switch, as well as optional features like an immobilizer and an alarm system. The G 310 R is available for P260,000.
The G 310 GS is also available, featuring the same engine as the G 310 R. The bike also has the same features, including an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and a pass switch. Optional safety features include an immobilizer and an alarm system. You can get the G 310 GS for P300,000.
