Angkas goes racing in partnership with Ducati Philippines to promote safety
Racing? Safety? A plan this outgoing might just work since it’s Angkas.
Angkas is going racing the only way it knows how, safely on the race track and not on the streets. The brand is entering into motorsports and sponsoring TJ Alberto, Troy Alberto, and EJ Sobretodo. The trio will represent Filipinos in international racing competitions. The Angkas brand remains committed to its advocacy of riding safety, and its business model continues to thoroughly train and develop its riders with safety and skill being the most important attributes.
“Right now, we are sponsoring TJ, Troy, and EJ. Coincidentally, EJ’s father is a hardworking Angkas rider-partner. Angkas will be providing financial support to sustain the needs of these three top-caliber riders in global racing competitions.”
The sponsorship is just the beginning of Angkas’ involvement in motorcycle racing. On top of that, the brand has partnered with Ducati Philippines in order to initiate a training program for potential racing champions to be undertaken. The race training program takes Ducati to the grassroots level to help develop the motorcycle racing scene in the Philippines.
Any and all riders are encouraged and allowed to take part in the program, including Angkas’ very own rider-partners.
George Royeca is also an award-winning businessman, having received the Ten Outstanding Young Men 2020 for his innovations and effective campaign for alternative transport solutions in the country.
As it stands, Angkas still has excellent road safety records and high customer satisfaction ratings. To help keep this up, Royeca is advocating racing, not on the streets, but in the right place at the right time, on the race track. Through organized motorcycle racing that is disciplined, controlled, and in the right environment, the brand’s thrust of safety can be upheld.
The events to look out for for this racing season includes TJ Alberto’s 2022 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), Troy Alberto’s World SSP300 in Portugal, and finally Sobretodo’s Asia Cup Road Racing (ACRR). All of the racers will serve as an inspiration to Pinoy riders, many of whom dream of being on the world stage. Angkas firmly believes in fast riding where and when it is safe.
