The all-new Honda AirBlade 160 is now available for P119,900
It gets a brand new engine, added tech features, and new two-tone color options.

After releasing teasers several days ago, Honda Philippines officially launched the all-new AirBlade 160. The updated scooter carries a price tag of P119,900. With a brand new engine, a smattering of new tech features, and new styling, is the AirBlade 160 worth the price of admission?
In terms of the design, the 2023 Honda AirBlade 160 carries new two-tone color options, accentuated by a 3D emblem that adds a touch of premium. The seat is also clad in two-tone leather to match the scooter’s new look.

Three color variants are available, including Pearl Dark Ash Blue 2, Candy Luster Red, and a Special Edition Matte Dim Gray Metallic. It’s currently unclear whether the latter sells for a different price, as it features a gold instead of silver emblem with unique badging.
Of course, the star of the show is a new 157cc eSP+ engine that delivers 15.02 hp at 8,000 RPM and 14.6 Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM. According to World Motorcycle Test Cycle figures, this powertrain gets up to 47.5 km/L, which is par for the course for a scooter of this displacement.

The all-new AirBlade 160 also features a twin shock rear suspension to better absorb bumps on the road while ensuring pillion comfort and safety. Speaking of safety, the scooter comes equipped with ABS as standard.
Meanwhile, the idling stop system ensures maximum fuel savings by switching the engine off after three seconds of inactivity. This could be particularly useful for heavy traffic situations while navigating city streets.

Other notable tech additions include a Honda smart key with an answer-back system plus anti-theft alarm and a 2.1A USB-A charging port. There’s also a fully-digital instrument panel that displays crucial riding information such as a trip meter and average fuel consumption. Last but certainly not least, the all-new AirBlade 160 features an all-LED lighting system for a truly modern and sporty scooter aesthetic.
Overall, we think this new model will appeal to younger riders and professionals alike, as the accessible price tag and an abundance of features make for a wider appeal. The all-new 2023 Honda AirBlade 160 is available now at Honda dealerships nationwide.
