The 2022 Honda ADV 160 is finally here in the Philippines—Price starts at P164,900
Honda Philippines introduces its long-awaited successor to its ultra-popular model the ADV 160.

Honda Philippines officially launches its new ADV 160 to the market. Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) took us to its Safety Driving Center to witness the launch of its new soon-to-be best seller in the country.

Adventure-style scooters are all the rage when looking at the Honda lineup, and the model comes equipped with some premium features in order to make urban scooting a joy and a breeze. If “160” looks familiar, that’s because the engine of the new ADV is Honda’s next-generation single-cylinder motor that also powers the Honda Click 160, and the Honda Airblade 160. In our experience, all the new Honda scooters with this motor feature torquey power delivery which makes the scooters more eager to get going from a stop.

As for what it offers for the price, the Honda ADV 160 comes equipped with Big H’s new 156.9cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that punches out 15.8 hp and 14.7 Nm of torque, a marked increase over the previous-generation ADV 150. The ADV 160 now has extra power and torque on tap to give its other rivals in the segment a run for their money.
There are more goodies yet, as the scooter comes with some adventure-bike-inspired componentry such as the tall windshield, a USB charging port in the front apron, a fully-loaded digital LCD instrument cluster, ABS, traction control, Honda’s keyless ignition system, and that lovely Showa suspension in the front and in the rear. Other features in the ADV 160 include a 14-inch front and a 13-rear wheelset with dual-sport tires, an expanded storage space under the seat, and also the Honda Combi-Braking system.
The exterior hasn’t changed all too much with the ADV 160, and it’s still the same rugged little urban adventurer that many have come to love and enjoy since its launch back in 2017. Still inspired by its larger brother the X-ADV 750, Honda’s adventurous little scooter could be the brand’s next big hit. Get in line now before the wait list gets too long.

To recap, the new ADV 160 gets a new powerplant along with a host of features that make it a more compelling scooter for your urban adventures. The price for the ADV 160 starts at P164,900.
