2020 Bangkok Motor Show pushes through this month
One of the biggest motorcycle shows in Southeast Asia is set starting July 15.

Major motorcycle shows and sporting events have been canceled this year with fears in guaranteeing the health and safety of participants and guests brought about by the COVID-19 global pandemic. However, Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, the organizers of the 41st Bangkok International Motor Show were pleased to announce that they have decided to push through with this year’s show. The 41st Bangkok International Motor Show is set to be scheduled from July 15 to 26, 2020.
The Bangkok International Motor Show is one of the most popular automotive and events in Asia and almost all major motorcycle manufacturers have used this event as an opportunity to unveil their latest offerings to the market. Thus, we can expect all sorts of motorcycles from high-performance sportbikes, daily commuters, and scooters to be on display. The event is set to be held in the Challenger Halls of the Impact Muang Thong which has a total space of 170,000 square meters.

With the rest of the world showing a slow improvement in the global condition brought by COVID-19 with lockdown measures slowly easing, nonetheless, the organizers want to assure all participants and guests of the show of the stringent safety protocols to be in place for the event. In any case, they also took it upon themselves to feature a special virtual motor show to showcase its most anticipated highlights for people who would want to enjoy the show from the confines of their own home.
Major motorcycle brands that are expected to be participating in the show include Aprilia, Bajaj, BMW, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa, and Yamaha. The show will be open from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm on the weekends with tickets being priced for the 41st International Motor Show priced at THB 100 or equivalent to P160.
